Education and training:

2012-present: Doctoral Fellow, MTA-SZTE ‘Lendület’ Oscillatory Neuronal Network Research Group at University of Szeged, Department of Physiology, Hungary

2006-2012: Medical Doctor at University of Szeged, Faculty of Medicine, Hungary

Research field:

The main goal of my PhD work is to investigate the possibility of the interference with progression of complex partial seizures using transcranial alternating current electrical stimulation (TES).  To achieve this I will use multiple independent current gradients oscillating synchronously, which cross each other at the desired focal point. This attempt will make TES spatially selective which can reach a high enough local gradient to modulate the ongoing neuronal activity selectively. Accomplishing the focused-electrical stimulation will establish key preclinical studies of TES as a novel therapy
